Kababish Cafe

Went there for a family Christmas Eve lunch. We had a great time, the staff were helpful and attentive. The food is wonderful, my favorite is the Runna (lamb shank). This is our fourth visit since finding this gem.

Amazing Mughlai food. I tried paaya, kabab platter with rice and mango lassi. Super good!

Ever since we found the gorgeous Kababish Cafe a couple years ago, we've gone there to enjoy their Pakistani dishes at least once a week. The owners are wonderfully generous and warm people, greeting each guest as if they're welcoming them into their own home. The food is all prepared to order, so if you have dietary preferences, food intolerances, or allergies, they are happy to have you covered. Eat in or take out, and it's always delicious.INSIDER TIP: They allow you to bring your own beer or wine, for no fee, with which to enjoy your meal. That makes your lunch or evening meal affordable and delicious.ANOTHER INSIDER TIP: They also do catering, which you can scope out on their website. It's not a huge part of their business, but take a look at their Thanksgiving platters. OMG, you'll never need to slave over a turkey dinner for 10 again.

Food is authentic and very good, but the kitchen was slow. The couple that owns the restaurant are genuinely nice people. They don’t serve alcohol because of religious believes but they allow you to bring your own in and don’t charge a corkage fee.

Decent place and decent food..probably expected a lot more than I got...excepted it to be more flavorful...Ordered falooda but it was more just like a normal icecream...goat biriyani didn't have enough meat in it..the meat appetizer sampler although looked good was lacking a bit of salt and other flavors which would have made them tasty. The lamb meat in the boti kabab was a bit hard and chewy too...

First time customer, and thoroughly enjoyed it! I had the Tandoori Chicken and and it reminded me of a memorable meal of the same that I had overseas. The hummus & fresh warm naan was perfect to start the meal.I did have difficulty using the online reservation system, but as an alternative I used email and it was promptly responded to. Remember, it is BYO beer or wine. We brought a bottle of wine and they provided glasses and a corkscrew. There was not a corkage fee.

Just finished a fabulous lunch of my favorite butter chicken. This is THE place for amazing food. Never disappointed! Go by and meet the delightful Sam and get a great meal.

We have taken our parents to Kababish Cafe twice, and both times our experience has been excellent! They have by far the best biryani in the area, and their biryani can compete with any restaurant, even with any restaurant in India to be honest. The rice and spices used are always fresh and the biryani has great flavor and is authentic and spicy. They also give you such generous portions, so definitely be ready to eat and take food home as well. The staff and owners are so nice and helpful. They also gave our Mom a rose for Mother's Day when we got take out from them! Highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed at all.

Hands down my favorite Indian place!! The best chicken tikka masala. This restaurant is 30 minutes away from me and I still make the commute. I once made the commute to buy just an appetizer (the chaat papdi is sooo fresh). Also, great staff. They’re always so kind and welcoming.

Just the right amount of heat and the flavor was outstanding. I ordered medium lamb vindaloo, dal and the meat appetizer. I have to say this is the best Indian cuisine I have had in 31 years in this area. You just need to try to believe it. I just can’t say enough good about it. Portions are generous i.e. there was lots of lamb instead of just potato. When you try it you’ll see what I mean.

We've been to probably two dozen Indian restaurants. Kababish is pleasant inside. It's fairly small and cozy and the bathrooms were clean. The many has around a dozen vegetarian entree choices, which is a little below average. The food is spicy (hot) but very bland otherwise. Very disappointing.

I like this Restaurant it so great place for you and your family too. People work right here so friendly I respect them because they are always smile. Thank YOU

I really loved the food and their service. But the rice served with appetizer like kebabs and tandoor shrimp was unnecessary I felt which also makes the dish somewhat expensive. Overall experience was superb and I loved the taste. Must try kheer for dessert.

Great Pakistani food hiding near downtown Cary.My wife found this place one day, and told me we had to go back so I could try. The food is delicious and the service was top-notch. You can tell that these are authentic dishes made with care. I'll be heading back to try the rest of the menu.

Great food and service. Smaller place, gets busy around lunch and dinner time. Had lunch and dinner there, consistent quality and great tasting food. Portion are adequate. Be warned their normal is spicy.

We stopped here for my birthday and I'm so glad we did! The staff was wonderfully friendly and the food was delicious. I got the chicken Korma and my husband got the tandoori fish. both meals were AMAZING and very reasonably priced. Our waiter stopped by many times to refill drinks and check in on us. if you like Indian food, GO HERE. You will not be sorry.

This was an ok Indian dining experience. The food was good but service and seating was a bit disorganized. It wasn't clear who our server was as four different people assisted us. Not bad, but not great either when compared to other Indian restaurants in the area.

Very friendly family owned restaurant with a great variety of customizable meal options. Generous portion sizes. I got the vegetarian special and it was delicious. Husband got Chicken vindaloo and loved it. The special came with dessert which was rice pudding and it was perfect.

Excellent selection of Pakistani, Indian and Mediterranean foods. We've been very satisfied with the food all 3 visits - lunch and dinner. The house lamb stew was excellent. Today for lunch I enjoyed the chicken bihari kabab and mixed vegetables curry with paneer. Plan to take your time and enjoy every bite.

I loved all of the food! It's SO difficult to find veggie kabobs anywhere so I was already excited to see that they had them on their menu, but when I saw and tasted them they exceeded expectations! The restaurant is small and cozy with beautiful twinkle lights and Moroccan hanging lights (not sure what they are actually called). My only wish would be that they make a dish with both protein and veggies, like lentils and veggies. Either that or have an option to get them as sides. Will definitely be returning!

Went there for the first time last night as a friend was playing in the jazz band. The food was fabulous! Loved it and we will be back!

One of the few restaurants open on Christmas. The restaurant was packed as a result, but we waited patiently for our appetizers and meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, nicely spiced, and cooked just right. The portions were on the smaller size, but adequate. Even though the staff was a bit overwhelmed, they were gracious and did the best they could.

I visited Cary for 2 weeks for business.I needed to find a nice halal place to eat and I certainly found it with Kababish.The service was awesome at each of my visits, which at times was daily. I visited in excess of 10 times.Food was awesome, really traditional Pakistani food with the right amount of spices in it.Could not fault the place at all.Every single dish I tried was perfect and would highly recommend.I have posted a lot of photos, each photo is of each dish and meal. It shows consistency with the food and quality.I had certain dishes on multiple occasions and consistency was amazing.A must taste visit whilst in the area!

I would 100% recommend this restaurant! The owners and staff are so friendly and the food is amazing! My fiance moved to Cary so whenever I come to visit we go to Kababish and it never disappoints. The last few times they have even had complimentary henna and a live band. If you are looking for a nice local indopakistani restaurant this is the place to go!

The customer service is phenomenal, the atmosphere is unbeatable, and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I will forever make the hour drive to go here, even longer if I have to. This place is so freaking worth it. 10/10 experience, we can't wait to go back.

Nice variety of food including some traditional dishes I have not seen before. Vegetarian and gluten free options. The food itself was quite good.

Food is good. But they need to put separator in front of rest rooms. When you sit the table near there. Toilet is completely visible and you can see guests going in and out of rest rooms...

Fantastic experience! Warm and welcoming staff and very accommodating for my two rambunctious children. Each order was more delicious and flavorful then the last. Chai was absolutely delightful.

Excellent food!! The lunch specials are unbelievably good - wonderful choices and options, delicious! I have only sampled a few items from the rest of the menu, but every time I eat here I am just amazed at how wonderful the whole experience is! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Just discovered this place a couple months ago and love the food, so much so that I pick up drops from here quiet frequently! I always order the chicken tandoor and I love that it asks me the level of spicyness! I have met the owners a couple times when I have gone to pick up. They are always very friendly and welcoming!

Visited this place during our visit at Raleigh, they have a clean and nice seating area with medetarian music in the background however they have all indo-pak cuisine options. Julab gaman are not really great in taste but other stuff should be good to try out
